![]() ![]() The only reason I made this post is because I thought it was hilarious how this author evidently criticized GS when he was seemingly trying to be objective as possible. So, I don't even focus on professional reviews much anymore. Turns out, I absolutely love the album, though I totally found everything the reviewer said as rational. I felt that everything he/she said was reasonable and I wouldn't like the album as a result. My basic point is these reviews are really negligible, even the positive ones, because I read a review for Ghost Stories before even listening to the album, and I understood everything the reviewer described each song as. ![]() ![]() Others just simply listen and enjoy, sinking into the sound (and of course there's people who do all of these things). Some analyze lyrics, find a deep meaning, and discover a conveyed message in the songs they hear. It's hard to "review" music because it's totally what the listener makes of what they're listening to. ![]()
